I need your help! I made this image at a recent wedding in Cancun for Lauren and Daniel and I made sure to get the boat in the background because I like it at the time. Well now I can’t decide if I like it or not! Does it complete the image or distract from it? I need your help! So, A or B? And I would appreciate a reason behind the choice instead of just saying A or B. Fire away!
A
B

I’d go with B I think!
B.
I like it better because it draws your eye towards Lauren & Daniel, and the space beside them draws to how close they are and shows they don’t care what’s around, they just care about eachother!
I like B cause the focus is more on Daniel and Lauren than the beach!
I like B. It’s more of an intimate moment inparadise instead of a party in cancun.
B for sure!
…glad you edited out the parasailor. Now your attention is on the couple.
B. the parachute is distracting and confusing. Or…how about doing one of those cool holographic things where you turn the photo and the parachute appears and disappears? Yeah, that’s it.
b – because it’s about the couple, not the boat.
Sorry to break the trend, but I like B! I think it adds to the beach/resort feel of the image. The other one is good to though. Nice image!
I meant A!
Beautiful pic!
I def vote: B
Thanks for the votes everyone, we’ll have to do this more often
Def A, would choose B, if they were on the right of the photo…
I have to go with the crowd. B. Beautiful shot.
I like B as it is simple without the distraction of the boat and leaves the focal point on the couple.
First off, WOW. I’ve been looking through your blog and must say you are one of the best photographers I have seen. And there is so much information here I feel like I could spend all day looking around! I like image B, the boat is distracting and the negative space you create by taking the boat out just draws your eyes back to the subject, the couple. Amazing picture, amazing location. I’m jealous!
